Saturday morning session 08:30 - 12:30 between Beckington and Frome – please speak to the receptionist.
Please inform the receptionist if you wish to see a particular GP. For continuity of care we recommend that you see the same doctor, where possible, for ongoing problems as this usually works best for doctor and patient.
The receptionist can make appointments at either site for you.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all initial GP appointments are by telephone.
GP Routine Appointments
Non urgent medical problems can be booked up to one month ahead. Each appointment to discuss one medical problem lasts 10 minutes,
please request a double appointment if you would like to discuss more than one problem.
GP Priority Care Appointments
These appointments are for urgent problems, please phone as soon as possible after 08:30 for a priority care appointment on the day.
GP Medication Review Appointments
Medication reviews usually need a full 10 minute appointment to complete.
If you have an additional problem to discuss, please make a double appointment.
Practice Nurse and HCA Appointments
Non-urgent medical problems can be booked up to one month ahead.
For an urgent medical problem on the day, please contact the reception team as soon as possible after 08:30.
First Contact Practitioners - Physiotherapist - Dealing with Bone, Joint or Muscle Pain
The Physiotherapist will:
Dr Beaven normally works Thursday and Friday
Dr Bruggers normally works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday with alternate Friday
Dr Tippin normally works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with alternate Monday
Dr Wooding normally works Tuesday and Thursday with alternate Monday and Friday
Dr Kay normally works Monday and Tuesday
Dr Nunn is currently on Maternity Leave
Dr Ryan is covering Dr Nunn's patient list normally Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Dr Edwards normally works Tuesday and Wednesday
Dr Lewis normally works Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Dr North normally works Wednesday and Friday
Dr Bailey normally works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Dr Loh normally works Tuesday, Friday and alternate Wednesday
It is important that you inform the practice if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you persistently fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment and may ultimately be removed from our patient list.

Home visits are available for patients who are unable (housebound) to attend the surgery.
To request a home visit call 01373 830006 no later than 13:00 so the doctor can plan their visit.
When requesting a home visit, please tell the receptionist:
The doctor may call before coming out to visit to see if there is another way to help with the problem.
We have a text message service which allows you to receive confirmation & reminders about your appointments and other notifications such as flu vaccination invitations.
